Prescription Testosterone Boosting Program

Who's It Geared For?

This program is designed for men experiencing symptoms of hypogonadism (low testosterone production).  This is clinically defined as a serum T level of less than 300ng/dL, however, there are scenarios where the overriding symptoms (i.e. poor erection quality, low sex drive, low energy, muscle loss, and poor exercise stamina) are suggestive of hypogonadism even if the serum testosterone is higher than 300ng/dL.

What's The Program?

This program consists of oral administration of clomiphene citrate and DHEA.  These have been clinically proven to elevate the endogenous serum T production and improve the testosterone/estrogen ratio in men.  While the shift in overall T is different from person to person, the average increase is 200-300 points, while on this medication. Additionally, patients in studies have shown to have zero side effects while taking the medication and consistently have shown improvement in quality of life.  There does not appear to be an age limit for this medication as it has been studied with younger and older men alike.

No Adverse Effects

The literature also shows no adverse effect on cholesterol levels in these patients, while there is some suggestion that it could improve cholesterol.  Initial evidence also suggests that increasing serum testosterone levels could help to balance blood sugar, potentially reducing the need for diabetic medications or preventing diabetes.
